The Barns, Normandy

Completed Developments

The Barns at Normandy form part of a Grade II listed estate set in three acres of landscaped gardens.

The estate dates back to the 1600s and over the years has been beautifully restored. As the final part of its restoration and in line with national heritage and listed buildings regulations, our remit was to re-purpose the old barns and stables. We commenced by constructing a new roof and covering it with reclaimed welsh slate. All of the brickwork, beams and windows were formed from reclaimed materials to retain the authenticity of the estate. Underfloor heating throughout was installed and covered in Italian porcelain tiles; it was the perfect finish to this stunning and sympathetically designed conversion of the former outbuildings.
